Italian coffee available in 4 flavour:
- Moka ($11.75)
In the early 1900's, cultural life in Livorno was represented by the "Caffè Bardi", a haunt for artists and writers. In the famous "left nook", artists would animatedly discuss the artistic avant-garde movements coming to light in a Europe in turmoil.
The famous "Scuola Livornese" firmly established itself as one of the most important painting trends of the first half of the century, and in honor of this Tuscan artistic tradition, Arcaffè decided to pay homage to some of those artists who had brought most honor to the city of Livorno. A new line of coffee was created:
Great Tuscan Painters: the Post-macchiaioli with the works of three great Livornese Masters reproduced on the packets.
Today, Arcaffé is able to produce more than a million kg of roasted coffee every year, which - with the support of commercial and marketing assistance - is distributed by an efficient network of agents to the specialized refreshment sector, the catering sector and for domestic use.
Today Arcaffè offers a rich, articulated range of catering products, the natural development of the production and distribution of coffee to public commercial concerns which has always been Arcaffè's principal commercial tendency. From the practical single-dose packet of decaffeinated coffee to the 3kg pack of Miscela Bar coffee beans, all catering products are developed by Arcaffé with an attention to quality which guarantees the professional operator advantageous terms and reliable supply
It's not enough merely to select and market a high-quality product. That is why Arcaffé, jointly with other coffee roasters, has become the promoter of the "Associazione Caffè Speciali Certificati" (the Association of Special Certified Coffee), CSC-Italy. This association sets our rigid control procedures which, step by step, follow the entire process undergone by the coffee bean, starting from the coffee plant, right through roasting and blending, to the coffee-bar next door.
This is what the CSC label guarantees, to both the coffee-bar owner and the consumer: true quality, based on a control system does not overlook even one of those stages which culminate in a cup of espresso coffee .
To give us one of the less expensive - and so more satisfying - pleasures. As Edoardo de Filippo would say: "How little it takes to make a man happy! To relax with a cup of coffee..."
The "Miscela Roma", a special blend perfected in the years between the two World Wars by patient selection and testing by the Meschini brothers, was the result of close business ties with one of the most renowned historical bars of the city, the "Bar Roma"; as was an entire line of coffee blends especially for bars, produced today using modern systems but honoring in all respects the original rules of roasting and blending formulas. Arcaffè's present brands are created following the same philosophy: faithful copies of the best blending formulas experimented by the firm in the course of its many years of qualified activity at the service of operators specialized in the restaurant/refreshment sector
